Biography
I earned my BFA degree in Painting from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2000 and a Post Baccalaureate in Creative Writing in 2002. I later earned my MA in Education with an emphasis in Visual Art from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, in 2004. I have taught high school visual art for the past nine years, through the Kansas City Art Institute’s PCAL summer program and most recently IB Visual Art for the past five years at North Kansas City High School.
I am a practicing painter and printmaker. My work has been shown at a variety of venues in the Kansas City area and other places nationwide.
